SONY RX100 VIIa (2025 model)

We're glad to announce that support for Sony RX100 VIIa has been shipped. Download the latest Capture One 16.6.4 here to work with this camera.

Workaround: If the camera model is changed with Exiftool to DSC-RX100M7, Capture One can import.

The corresponding command is: exiftool -EXIF:Model=DSC-RX100M7 -overwrite_original *.arw

So please CaptureOne-Team: This is a few-minutes-task for you to fix.

Same problem, with Capture One 16.4.

And please update all Capture One versions that were able to open RX100VII, so not only the latest version. RX100VIIA is NOT a new camera model.

Capture One please do something. If it's just matter of exif you shoud be able to fix it in a couple of hours

Ich vermute, dass es nicht sehr schwierig ist, das Modell Sony RX100M7a aufzunehmen, um RAW-Dateien in C1 bearbeiten zu können. Es wäre allerdings sehr hilfreich.

Same problem here - as a workaround one can use exiftool to change the model to a different one.

exiftool -EXIF:Model=DSC-RX100M7 -overwrite_original *.arw does the trick on my side - unfortunately this does not work for adobe products.

Hello the SONY RX100M7A (2025 model) RAW files are not recognized neither by Capture One 23 (I have a perpetual licence for it) not by the latest Capture One demo just downloaded. Old SONY RX100M7 is normally supported. Basically RX100M7A and RX100M7 are the same camera, the 2025 "A" verson was just updated to comply with EU regulations. Please fix the support. Thanks
