I noticed you guys are supporting tethering for the new Panasonic S1RII. Can you please add tethering support for the S5, too? It's my favorite camera that I've ever used and I don't want to have to sell it and switch cameras, just to be able to tether with Capture One. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
As a professional photographer and Capture One All-In-One subscriber, I’ve recently migrated from Sony to Lumix (S5IIX and S9), and the lack of tethering support has become a major limitation in my workflow.
One of the main reasons I continue using Capture One is the incredible tethering experience on iPad, which brings unmatched mobility to studio and on-location work. More importantly, it adds tremendous value to client perception, allowing them to follow the creative process in real time and engage directly during the session.
Now that tethering support for the S1R II is available, I strongly encourage the team to extend this to other models like the S5IIX and S9, which are becoming the go-to tools for many hybrid professionals. This would be a powerful step in solidifying Capture One as the best platform for photographers working with Lumix.
We’re happy to share that Panasonic LUMIX S1II and Panasonic LUMIX S1IIE are now supported in Capture One Pro from version 16.5.11.
You can download the latest version here and see what’s new in the release notes.
