A good deal of my photos happen to have straight lines near the edge of the image. Distortion of the APO Summicron m 35 is hardly noticeable in most of the image, but in the extreme corners straight lines visibly distort. Applying generic correction makes things worse. I haven't find a solution to correct the distortion manually.
Capture One has been part of my workflow for many years, I'd hate to move over to LR, just because of a failing lens profile.
It would be nice to get a hint if a profile for the APO Summicron M 35 is on the to-do list or not.
The attached image is a crop of the bottom 30%, complete width.
There is some visible distortion in the top right of the Leica APO-Summicron-M 35mm which is visible in C1 files due to the lens characteristics. This distortion is corrected in Lightroom due to the profile but not in C1.
It is inconceivable that I use Lightroom due to its inferior product/raw rendering quality but I still want better corrected distortion for this lens in C1 because it is critical to my workflow.
