Asking for customer feedback and ideas and doing nothing is worse than not asking at all. Seems like this is just another idea graveyard like the old community site they had.

Get back in the game team C1... 😔

Dear Mr. Rafael Orta, it's time for a truce – the war should be over. You could make many customers happy if you finally offered support for Hasselblad cameras in Capture One. Capture One hasn't been part of Phase One for some time now, but an independent company. In the interest of the customers, it's time to bridge the divide. Please accept that this is one of the best cameras on the market, and it deserves to be supported by the best software.

I believe Adrian highlights one of the most valid points for a company in a fast changing competitive world. We are about to arrive in 2026 in the year of our Lord. Why would mature management continue to play childish games with a mature supplier of professional equipment? Photographers like us have supported C1 for many years now purchasing every update upon introduction and you ignore our pleas. Join the future of your product and grow with the times, Rafael.

The fact that C1 doesn't support the best camera in the world is wild (and I say this as a long time Phase One user). You're actively hurting your best and most discerning customers. If this is pride related, y'all should be embarrassed. Please remedy or eventually Phocus will catch up and we'll leave you.

I desperately want to buy a Hasselblad, for how it treats colours, but the lack of support from C1 is whats stopping me. It's not a case that I will buy a Phase One instead, or even a Fuji GFX. I will just stay with Canon, but this seems a shame. Perhaps if Lightroom catches up to C1, I will switch and get the Hasselblad, but this is really not what I would like to do.

Team C1. Please respond and make your leadership team aware of this matter.

Capture One’s strength has always been delivering the best color science and RAW processing - independent of camera brand. Locking out Hasselblad users over old rivalries undermines that mission. Axcel owns Capture One, DJI owns Hasselblad; there’s no longer a direct Phase One vs. Hasselblad conflict. Today’s photography world thrives on openness and choice, not walled gardens. Technical collaboration isn’t impossible — Adobe and others manage Hasselblad RAWs without special partnerships. Supporting Hasselblad in Capture One would empower creatives and strengthen C1’s reputation as the professional platform for serious photographers.

Today Hasselblad is owned by DJI and C1 is owned by Axcel (that also own Phase One). A previous article (see link below) explains some background but i cannot for the love of god understand why this should be an issue today...

The days of the "walled garden" approach is dead - let's get past this and FINALLY have support for Hasselblad 🤞

I’ve been a capture one user since day one. Please support Hasselblad files. Specifically the X2DII mode. Please.

Me too -- but "worse than this" or "equally bad" is the fact that Capture One Pro will not allow DNG files produced for X2D RAW with DXO Pure RAW 4 - only DNG files from Certain Cameras are PERMITTED.

Previously I went into EXIF editor and change H for P and it worked ok. Not tried this Yet. and it is a pain for more than a rare issue.

I am an architectural and interior photographer and plan to switch to the Hasselblad system at the end of 2025. I have been using Capture One for many years and am very satisfied with it, having completed several hundred sessions and created multiple catalogs. I would appreciate it if the Hasselblad brand could be supported as soon as possible. It is a difficult situation when Capture One, which I use productively in my business, influences which hardware I can work with. Changing the software would disrupt and confuse the entire workflow. Dear Capture One team, even though it is a competing system to Phase One medium format, you should have the greatness and sovereignty to stand on the side of Capture One users.

Do we know exactly what's blocking C1 from supporting the Hasselblad cams? I would LOVE to use the Hasselblad X2D II 100C with C1. I have tried Phocus and it's definitely not for me...

The lack of support for Hasselblad is what’s keeping me from buying the camera. Please C1 - Help us get this thing done 🙏
