hello Yes I understood but how to reduce the waffle effect that appears in the high iso with Capture One by playing on the luminance slider. For example with Lightroom the waffle effect does not appear but a fairly coarse grain is present. I prefer the very fine grain with capture One but if we could remove the waffle effect that would be great.
Hi Jean Paul, thanks for the suggestion - this is unfortunately unlikely to happen: the denoise tool we have built works directly based on the sensor data coming straight from the camera, so it is based on specific patterns of red/green/blue pixels (Bayer first, x-trans after). A monochrome camera does not use the same technology, so we can't use the same techniques.
