I just wanted to add that tethering to C1 using a cable (I haven't tried wireless) already works flawlessly with the E-M1 mk2. You need to set up C1 to enable 'Hot Folders', and set Olympus/OM-SYSTEM's tethering software accordingly. It's actually very simple to do, and works an absolute treat.
Instant Tether/Live View/Wireless support for the Sony RX1R III, a fixed lens camera, but not the pro-level E-M1/OM-1 cameras? Cmon, now...
Why is it unlikely to implement? Lack of SDK from OM System?
"Hot Folders" is so slow, I wish there was support tethering with cabble.
