More options for save to card for Fujifilm

Which device are you using?

iPad Pro - current OS (Desktop Mac/os)

What problem do you see this solving?

I m testing new Fujifilm wireless tethering. I just want jpg-files to be transmitted to the iPad (for fast checks during shooting). But RAW + Fine-jpg should be parallel saved on camera SD-cards. I cant find a way to configure this. Currently just both types of fine-jpg+RAW are transfered or every type as a single. But wen i choose jpg, camera doesn ´t save RAW. It would be great to have a detailed configuration of what filetype(s) to be tranfered to iPad during tethering - independant of image-quality-configuration of the camera.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Yesterday

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals?

On desktop-version you can use "hotfolder-function" together with fujifilms software tool X-Aquire. X-Aquire offers such a filetransfer-type-configuration. I would like to have this kind of configuration within Capture one (mobile/desktop) to avoid using additional / thirdparty software.

I confirm that there is such a problem. I have a FUJIFILM X-T5 and I also can't send only JPEG to the iPad and save RAW on the camera. I really hope that this feature will be added in the next update.

It's ok, we are open to all suggestions, as long as we have some context! Thanks a lot for sharing!

PS: I would only like RAW-Files to be transfered to IPad when i imidiately would work on them with C1-Mobile. But this is another use case.

I dont´t really configure camera settings and shutter on the ipad during outdoor shootings. I just like the bigger screen of Ipad to inspect photos during shooting. Bus as far as i have seen remonte control of works fine.

Hello and thanks for the prompt response (and sorry about using a wrong name, I got confused with another post!). So from your response, I understand that you connect your camera wirelessly to the iPad, and you use the camera settings and shutter button to control the camera remotely. You quickly check if you got the shot on the iPad screen and then you continue editing on your desktop later. So you basically don't need the RAWs on the iPad. Did I get it right?

I confirm, currently you cannot do what you requested, but we are looking into it.

Also, how does the remote camera control work for you? any suggestions there?

    Thanks again!

Hey Evi, usually I´m working alone. I would like to be able to decide/configure, what type of file (RAW or JPG or both) will be transfered from camera to IPad during wireless tethering. For Example on location I would use iPad just for fast photo control during shooting with wireless camera. In this case i just need JPG-files to be transfered and i would like to avoid the transmission of big RAW-iles. This makes working-process faster and i would not have to delete RAW-Files on iPad later. BUT: I still need RAW Files to be recorded on the SD-Card of the camera for later work at with desktop C1.

As I already mentioned, currently it is not possible to configure this.

Hey Markus, thanks for the feedback. We are tracking it and we will investigate with the team. Could you elaborate why transfer speed is of essence for you? Are you working alone or with a team?
