changing a setting should effect all selected files

If I have a bunch of files selected and edit selected is on, to me it would make sense that changing a setting would effect all selected files. This not the case now, I am forced to use the adjustment clipboard and that to me is an extra unesserry step.

You say: "One of them is the ability to have multiple images side by side as references while you are editing only one, so you can try to match them." Isn't that the function of the edit selected button being on or off?

OK it is not possible but my question is: why? Is there any advantage to this?

Hi @Guest , thanks for your suggestion.
You are right that this is not possible when moving sliders, however we would suggest looking into Speed Edits, those affect all selected images at the same time: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015629178-Speed-Edit
