Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
I'd like to request a feature update on how crop aspect ratios are applied, especially when tethered.
Right now I mostly shoot 4x5 crop especially when on a vertical orientation. I set up my camera's viewfinder to 4x5 mask, as it matches closer to most magazine publication page dimensions, and social media like instagram.
That works all well and good but when I shoot in a horizontal orientation, I would like to have the option of the aspect ratio rotate as well - basically follow the orientation of the file/camera.
Sometimes I switch between horizontal and vertical orientation many times while shooting tethered. When I go vertical - horizontal - vertical, the crops go inwards and I'm basically losing crop real estate.
Current workaround
No workaround. I have to manually remove the crop and re-apply the 4x5 in horizontal orientation |
