enable c1 to import files direct from the camera via usb rather than always having to remove the card from the camera and read it via an external reader. I'm not talking about teathering, but about transferring previously captured images for processing. the current set up certainly doesn't speed up one's workflow...

Current workaround
remove card from camera (battery and card in one case), read files from card via ext. reader, return card to camera. this creates added wear&tear and shouldn't be neccessary as the cameras (nikon and leica) both have file via usb support, as do all modern cameras. |
