Accidental image delete restoration

The program should be able to provide the user with the ability to quickly and easily reverse an accidental/unintended deletion of an image file (to the 'Trash' folder) from the original folder that image was imported into. My understanding is that images deposited into the 'Trash' folder can only be restored to a general-type Library folder that contains over 18,000 images, in my case. There should be a one-click operation that is easily available to the user, which returns the unintentially deleted image to the folder that the image was originally imported into. I am describing a fundamental feature provision of every Microsoft Windows-based program from Windows 95 to present. Its absence is bizzare, and unacceptable.

Current workaround

I understand that my only recourse is to drag-and-drop the image from the 'Trash' folder to a general folder of all imported images, isolated from the other images from that photo shoot session, and hunt for it among my over 18,000 other images, where I supposed/assume that I might be able to resume the edits and adjustments where I left off just prior to the accident, or alternately, this program's design will force me to re-import the single image, in isolation from the other images taken from the same photo session. The first option would seem to be tedious task for the user to locate the file, and the second option, re-importing the image into its own folder from the HDD, would require me to repeat all of my previous edits from scratch, impossible to exactly match my previous edit choices, as the one image will now be separated from the almost completed state the file was in before the accidental deletion, and the image being unnecessarily separated from the other images from that same day's photo shoot. Neither are acceptable options.

Hi Randy, the undo button (and associated shortcut) should be able to do that for you?
