Keep the comments in Capture One once a live session is terminated

Once a live session is terminated or disabled, all comments made on images simply disappear. This makes it very inconvenient to use Live as the sole review gallery and communication system with a client for image selection and retouching feedback.

Current workaround

Rely on the recap email received once a session is terminated. But this is far from ideal in many cases (it is not as convenient to see what comments go to what image; sessions with many comments become a nightmare, and you cannot see the comment along with the image at the same time, …). I wish we could:

  • Renew the duration of a Live session once or twice to get 60-90 days, which should be enough to get most projects done

  • Keep the comments in Capture One visible even if the Live session is terminated

    oh my gosh I didn’t realize they disappeared. That seems like such an easy fix to keep them.


    I would also like the option to export a list of comments and file names associated. That way when I’m sending a selection of images to my editor, he can quickly review the comments rather than having to go into a live gallery.
