Capture One is having a great run right now in implementing really useful AI features in C1 Pro. If you can implement this feature in C1 Pro, I think this could be a game-changer for many people when it comes to portraits with unwanted shadows. Please take a look at this work, which was published by Cornell University back in 2020. Today, with more developed AI, this is certainly easier and faster, but the results are already really convincing.
