Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Hi!
I was very glad when I saw that Capture One finally had added support for C2PA Content Credentials and a posibility to add provenance tracking
... but I got totally disappointed when I realized that that support was limited to the users of the "Studio" and "All in One"-versions.
How did you think here?
I can take poison on that these features will be most anticipated among the photographers working in the news industry,
Do you think those are the ones buying the "Studio"-version?
Or are your picture that this is a feature that wedding and product photographers are dying for??
PLEASE, PLEASE release the C2PA even for the PRO-version users because they are the ones that really will need it and use it - and it is urgent as it looks now in the world.
I´m not alone in my stand in this issue:
This NEW Capture One Feature Changes EVERYTHING | 16.5

.. and thanks for a software that just keeps getting better and better and more and more productive and efficient over the last three years especially!
Ni är bäst, så varför skulle ni inte kunna fixa detta lite snabbt?

If this is how this is supposed to work seen from CAI and the C2PA then they are shooting themselves in the foot. The whole reason with this initiative seen from the users of these media pictures, for example News Agencies, Newspapers and in the widest sense the whole free worlds states that relies of some kind of verified authenticy and "truth" is to prevent chaos. Another side of the same coin is to improve the very cumbersome process of verifying all these pictures authenticy secure a higher level of efficiency in this process. So why adding a cost that will make people NOT use the system because of a desire to get somebody else to take the costs. Something is very very wrong here. When you tell me this I don´t see any future at all for either CAI and C2PA really.
Have you thought anything around why you even bothered developing these featurs when they seem to be too costly to use both for you and your users?
I must say I´m really astonished by this info!
Then Lightroom seems to be the only alternative for most professionals and enthusiasts selling pictures to the media.
Hi Sten-Åke, thanks for your message.
I will mark this as "not a feature request", as it is more a commercial suggestion than a new idea for the software.
Content Credentials are not available in our Pro product because they are adding a cost for our company every time they are used by anyone.
So, similarly to all of our other cloud services that are costing us everytime they are used, this feature has been added to our higher plans only.
