I currently use Evoto or Photoshop for removing distractions, cleaning the background or removing color banding. This is such a tedious and time consuming process and I'd just LOVE if this was added directly to C1. That would mean that 80% of my photos could be completed directly in C1. Today that number is <20%.
bumping this in 2026. Background removal would be the one thing that keeps me all in on capture one. From tether, processing and retouching. I already use the retouch faces its great. but still find ii need to use evoto ai or adobe lightrooms generative fill to fix some of the backgrounds. especially important for consisitency in ecomm when you have a light showing or a model ruins the white seamless with shoes. Once this is implemented i can cancel my evoto and adobe subscriptions.
If background creases are a distraction - as they really are - imagine how helpful would be a feature that removes all the creases from the attached picture.
At the moment I use the AI tool Retouch4me for this or send me studio images to an extrernal retoucher. Which is both expensive and timeconsuming. So I would LOVE a "clean up studio backdrop" function. Preferably one that remove even tape marks.

No one else seeing the value in this? If you use other tools or have a different process - please share.
