When viewed at a reduced size against a large, neutral background, certain editing errors – such as halos – become much more apparent than in the ‘to fit’ view. This is possible in Lightroom, and it provides a very informative view of the image. Display sizes of 10%, 20% or 30% should be available, and perhaps even higher increments.
Fully agree!
