Ability to have more options for Data related Filter
What problem do you see this solving?
I want to see all the Images which were taken in Dec for last 5 years. Currently we have filters which can used on date but that places month under the year.
I would like to see options where I can disect my catalog based on Month more than Year. This is specially useful for wildlife photographers who needs to review images of species based on Month so that they can plan ahead.
I already raised this as a request 218766.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This is very important for Wildlife photographers

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
We can think about using Advanced options in filters and try to created a album, but that is a little cumbersome to manage and maintain
You can search for a year/month. You can add multiple year/month and match ANY to achieve what you want. I have an AppleScript that creates the search multi-year search list for you in a smart album. You choose the month, and the year range, and it creates a smart album. AppleScript requires macOS but it makes it faster to create the multi-year search. You can create the same search manually on Windows.
Search is still lackluster anyway and I have requested similar additions in https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13468164438429-Add-Time-filter
