When using the diffraction correction option , the profile is either on or off with a tick-box, and often too severe giving the sharpening a brittle look. Please change this to a slider so it can be added to suit users needs.

Actually you can adjust aperture value - smaller number means bigger amount. I.e. F5.6 didn't introduce much diffraction, F16 etc. on contrary.
