Allow Normalize Tool to Work with Masks

Hi Capture One Team,

I constantly work on large volumes of e-commerce product images – bags, shoes, and other items from various photographers – and I keep running into the same challenge:

The Normalize tool is fantastic for achieving a consistent look, especially when matching background tones across hundreds of images. However, Normalize currently applies to the entire image, not just a specific area.

In my workflow, I need to unify the background while keeping the product’s color untouched. Right now, Normalize affects both the background and the product itself, which means I have to export each image and manually mask and correct the product color in Photoshop. This adds days of extra work to every project.

It would be a huge improvement if Normalize could be used with masks – so it only affects selected areas (like the background). This one feature would massively streamline high-volume workflows and make Capture One even more efficient for professional retouchers like myself.
