Metadata Stack Styles Bug - Wiping Out previous applied Metadata

I came across a stange behavior, which makes me loose confidence in using "Apply Styles" for Metadata. I have build several Metadata styles in a combinaltion of a Supplemental Category and Keywords to annotate photos. Unfortunately, even if I enable "Stack Styles" they wipe our previous applied Metadata Styles and even Keywords rather than just merging them.

This is happening directly when "Full Sync" for "Auto Sync Sidecar XMP" is enalbed. So I have turned it off and set it to "None". But, when I manualy do "Sync Metadata" it wipes out the related Metadata which has applied before. If I turn on "Full Sync" again the same will happen.

Current workaround

I make albums for Metadata fileds to save them. Not really a good workaround. I just can't trust this function.

A little update. Sometimes "Stack Styles" for Metadata works as intended, but often it doesn't.
