I would like to be able to moving files from a temporary location on my computer to a permanent location, using C1 renaming and cataloguing tools.
I don't always ingest files into a C1 catalogue from a card (when you want to copy the files), but from a folder on my computer, where I want the files "moved" so the empty folder indicates I have no outstanding files to add to a C1 catalogue. Move is an option in Lightroom.

I don't have a proper workaround other than manually deleting files from the temporary location. |
Hi Graham,
You can already do that in Capture One: if you go down the options on the import panel, you have a section called "After Import". This gives you the option to "Erase images after copying".
While not exactly a "move" function, this essentially behaves the same way, your images are copied in the new destination and removed from their original place.
