Adding the Face Retouch tool si a huge step forward for those who do a lot of portraits. So a big THANKS for this! This tool in its current shape is very powerfull, great rendering. I know you are working on some initial improvements that would make the workflow even faster (key one many of us are waiting for: apply Face Retouch on a dedicated layer(mask) so we can protect/exclude specific areas like birth marks.
One other thing that would be a great evolution and boost the workflow: glass reflection removal: if you manage to implement that tool corporate portrait photographers would rely exclusively on C1 for 99% for their work.

Current workaround
A few years ago I was playing with various color masks on C1 + Photoshop to copy/paste texture from the opposite eye (when possible). Evoto killed the game and makes this correction incredibly fast and easy, worth paying for it... but I would love to save my money for C1 :) |
Was recently blown away by Evoto and how amazing the glass reflection feature is. I had a shoot with a variety of different style of reflections in regular glasses, reading glasses, bifocals, polarized reflections, their reflection removal handled each one brilliantly. Whether it had to adjust hues of the reflection, create new areas of the face, modify HSL of the area, anything... it did it. Would love to see this but man I hope C1 can really implement something that compares
