Same Client Viewer Options as Capture One Studio + Overlays

  1. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to control what images are being displayed on the iPad via Live for Studio. Bad images of a subject are unfortunately unavoidable and having one stuck on the screen for everyone to see, especially with sensitive celebrity shoots is a no go. Please add the same client viewer options featured in Capture One Studio to the Live for Studio section within Capture One Studio and within the Live for Studio app: Pin Selected, Follow Selected and Follow Capture

  2. Despite it being so very obvious to press "Follow" again after swiping around to view images, clients for the life of me can never figure it out. When working on set managing so many things at once, having to repeatedly hear "the images aren't coming in" and having to explain to every individual that they need to press the "Follow" button is one of the least valuable ways to use time. It's basically like turning on "Auto Select New Capture>Never" every time someone scrolls through the images and it's impossible to always monitor, especially when sets are spread out. Again, having the proposed viewing modes (mentioned above) on the Live for Studio app controllable from Capture One Studio would make workflow so much more efficient.

  3. Overlays. I was recently on a location shoot where the client needed 3 iPads and overlays were essential in framing the image. Having to explain to multiple people on set that it is only visible on the computer (that is a distance away from them, shaded from the light and their view) seems like an easy fix.

Current workaround

Walking over to each iPad and swiping to find a aesthetically pleasing image to have on display to avoid having the iPad stuck on a bad image.
