"Aspect" function is not really working for desqueezing anamorphic images

In the online guide the new "aspect" function is said to be for de-squeezing anamorphic images into normal ones. It looks to me that his is not really working out because the image size is not increased as the image is de-squeezed. THere for I can de-squeeze the image but half of it will be lost.


Please offer a solution.


But good hob adding the aspect function at all. It was missing before

Current workaround

Only workaround I can imagine is to open the file photoshop, GIMP, Affinity Photo and then add the emty space to where i can later de-squeez the iamge.

    Hi Taavi, I'm not sure I understand the problem, you should be able to get the full image without losing any part by using the crop tool.

    Have you tried that? Is it still not what you expect?
