Would like to know if there is a way to "unlock" the Retouch Face Tool to "smooth out" bedding in the same way that the tool "smooths out" faces. Use a Mask instead of Face Detection to select area and apply.

Yes please, if there's any way to create the 'Retouch Faces' effect as a new, editable layer that would be amazing. For instance, a shot of a couple with one person side on & partially blocked does not get the fabulous retouch applied and requires further retouching, which defeats the object as it's difficult to match the C1 settings externally. I don't know how much the feature relies on eyes/nose/chin AI recognition, perhaps that's the issue.
