Parameters set for camera connection should stick with the camera, not the connection

I have a tethered shoot with a Fuji X-H2. When C1 Mobile shows the camera as connected I can go to Settings (or Preferences) (I use the German UI so I do not know the exact wording) and change some values e.g. to exclude JPG/HEIF.
When I need to change the battery, for example, the camera is disconnected. When I reconnect, I need to set these options again. For me, this is not logical. Set parameters should stick with the camera settings and not the connection.
