I wish you would fully partner with a company like Aftershoot to make C1 fully integrate with all of its tools because I am always looking for efficiencies and prefer your interface over the competition, but its this lack of integration that makes it harder and harder to justify staying with your platform. Why because if I can do a lot of the tedious processing, editing, cropping, and culling with automated software it allows me to focus more time on getting and shooting more jobs, if C1 is a hindrance to that then its effecting my ability to make a living and therefore will be forced to move to other platforms that do support these integrations. So my message is I love your interface, but need more active support from c1 for these AI services to make my business work easier. Thank you!

Current workaround
Well there is limited support, so I can't use any of their current premade editing profiles, I have to upload a bunch of c1 db's to create my own and then I have to cull first in aftershoot, then export the cull to c1, then I have to open the c1 db in aftershoot then apply my edit profile, then reopen c1 to see the results...so it would be really nice if there were an easier integration. |
I did reach out to them and they said y'all weren't responsive to give them the support they needed to fully integrate, so one group blaming the other isn't helpful. The bottom line is I'd prefer to be able to stay within C1, but in order to really use Aftershoot, I have to use Adobe Lightroom Classic and its clunky slowness...your UI and sessions are so much better...but I have to balance the time/ability to get photographs processed quickly and in quality so I can make money. This lack of integration is costing me money and to remain competitive with my photo peers who are using these tools to rapidly turnaround projects, where I have to use software I don't want to use because your two companies can't find a way to work together and your customers what we need to make continued use of your software a no brainer. I don't want to switch to lightroom but I may have to...the faster I can process images in a quality way allows me to take on more projects and make more money...so please decide if your company goal is to help us in that process or hinder us in that process? Thank you!

I would suggest reaching out to the Aftershoot team about some of those, for example, you not being able to use their premade editing profiles isn't something we can do about it, they would have to create those.
