I've been using a wide monitor for almost 5 years, and recently upgraded to an Ultra Wide monitor. The problem is the tools section is only a single column, making inefficient use of the monitors ability. I noticed this previously, but now with a massive monitor that's really wide, editing is amazing, BUT I find myself having to scroll through the vertically stacked tools too much.

Current workaround
Currently, as a work around, I float some other commonly used tools. This works except it interferes with the current image. So not ideal and not as good as a docked tool second column. |
agree, not only for wide monitor but also for two next to each other . And yes, you can use a floating tool as a workaround but then you also see the desktop or whatever app is open behind it
