Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
There is a big problem when reading the crop from the metadata of JPG files. Example - the photo was initially vertical raw, after which it was horizontal crop into Lightroom and exported. If such a JPG is opened in Capture One, the cropping that is prescribed in the metadata will be applied. It turns out that if there was a rotation or crop in Lightroom/ACR and then there was an export to JPG. When opening a file in Capture One, it overlays the original coordinates of the image location before cropping on the Lightroom/ACR crop. Although I couldn't find any program that would interpret this cropping in the same way. They all open the file as usual, without crop.

Current workaround
There is no way around this problem. All the checkboxes from the metadata settings do not change anything. The crop is still applied. It only remains to change it manually. You can't reset the crop settings either |
Hi, we will have an update for this very soon, maybe this week.
