The layers and masks pane is difficult to use, especially when you have more than 3 items in the list. I often look for ways to resize these widgets, but the tool panels feel very restrictive. On a large display, it ends up feeling like I’m working on a small laptop screen.
Having the ability to undock and dock these tools, or resize them by adjusting the dividers between panels, would make a huge difference. Right now it feels like I’m working with handcuffs on, and more flexibility would really improve the overall workflow.
Hi Seth, see my other comment about this: all the tools can be made floating tools already.
You may also want to move the tools between the pinned area and the scrollable area of the tool tabs if you prefer the tools to stay in the tabs, they behave slightly differently in each of those sections.
