Compare Variant - Option to pin on the right side of the viewer instead of left

It's a brilliant feature but I usually give up on it because for me it's on the wrong side of the screen. It would make more sense to pin a compare variant to the right side of the viewer for people that prefer the tools on the left side.

This is how compare variant works currently:

Example of preferred workflow:
I edit an image from a session until I'm happy and plan to edit more images using it as a reference.

I proceed to set the image as compare variant. Then choose the other selects one by one to work on them while using the compare variant as a reference.

From this point this is the current layout of the workspace from left to right:

Why the current layout doesn't work:
Now I need to move my eyes and mouse cursor across the compare variant to go from the tools on the left side of the screen to the image that I'm working on on the right side of the screen for every adjustment that is made. On a large monitor this is both tiring and distracting.
