One Settingsfolder i Sessions

Please add back ONE Settings folder in every session.
My problem is when I have a delivery folder under Output, CO adds a Capture One folder under it, and adds a settings folder. I don't want to send that folder to my clients. And I don't want to make a new folder outside the CO structure. I want it back as it used to be, or have the option to say I want it like it used to be.
When exporting to Output I make a PSD folder for external edit. Then I deliver the images. In a subfolder called Delivery.

Current workaround

Here are some workarounds I don't like. It adds manual work to my workflow.

  • Create your Delivery folder outside of the Session Output folder, so Capture One doesn’t manage it.

  • Export as usual to the Output folder, then move the final files manually into your Delivery folder.

  • Keep using the built-in Session folders (Capture, Selects, Output, Trash) without adding new ones below them, which avoids the duplication. ( My problem here is I also edit images after CO and before delivery in PSD).

Hi Michael, you can sort this by going to the settings and disabling the indexing of the output folders in the new "session folders" section.

Alternatively, you can completely disable the section (in your settings again), which will revert the software to how it behaved before the May 2025 update.
