Enable the ability to add a keybinding to the "create keyword" dialog, and add a button in the dialog to "create and assign" (in addition to the "create" button currently present), which both creates the keyword and assigns it to the selected photos. This allows you to create and assign a keyword at any time, from anywhere, with the fewest user actions, avoiding the need to navigate to the Keyword Library tool to create keywords, then select the keyword there, or go to the Keyword tool to assign it.

Current workaround
To create a keyword, you go to Keyword Library, hit the "+" key, and use the dialog box (using autocomplete), enter the keyword, and hit return. To assign a keyword, select the target photos, and either use the Keyword Library or the Keyword tool to assign the keyword to the photos. |
