Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Because I am shooting tethered to a laptop and then transferring the Session files via a USB stick to my my editing platform - a Windows PC - changing the default Session file location during the shoot does not help me. I need to be able to point Capture One on my PC to my dedicated Client drive (not C:Pictures) every time it opens up. This needs to be done in a preference setting - completely separate from any options during a Session shoot.
Please allow the location for the default Sessions folder (C:\Pictures) to be changed at the global level. I do not save my Session folder (or Catalog folders) on my default Pictures drive. It is on another drive. This is extremely annoying. If I forget that I am opening the session on the default drive, which is my Pictures folder (on my OneDrive from the shoot) then the pictures start downloading from the OneDrive cloud - which I do not want happening!
I then have to shut down Capture One because it crashes after stopping the download and trying to go back to my other drive where I have already transferred the Session files
PLEASE FIX. This is driving me crazy. Thank you.

Current workaround
The work around is that I have to pay attention when I am opening up the client session folder on my PC and make sure that I am not opening it up where my default Pictures folder is located. Currently is located in my OneCloud drive where I automatically backup shoots that were tethered to my laptop. I always have to remember to open the Session files from the Dedicated Client drive where I moved the session files via USB from the laptop to the PC. |
