My workspace has my tools where I want them. When I drag a Tool out of the Tools area onto the image area, I have to drag it back manaully which is clunky, fiddly and difficult on a laptop or hires screen
How about a right click option to return this to default location.
Current workaround
None, I have to drag the tool back manually which is tricky esp because all the tools are white text on black background.
Yes agreed. It is about time this simple solution was implemented. To improve workflow. Productivity. I chuckle every time I see C1 ambassadors like Paul Reiffer and David Grover struggle with this too! :) Right click >>> return to default workspace location.
If C1 can keep track of the order in which the user opens and closes tools in a tool tab, C1 should be able to have a one-click solution to return a floating tool to its proper tool tab. If a user customizes his/her tool tabs in a long list of tools, returning the floating tool can take a long time and lead to mistakes.
The suggested solution is a right click. or it could be an x that the user simply clicks on to close the floating tool.

This has to be really simple coding.
Excellent suggestion.
