Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
When masking a specific area in the frame for precise colour adjustments, it would be extremely helpful to manipulate the mask using Add, Subtract and Intercept with an option for Colour, like there already is with Luma Range.
The circumstance that has prompted this feature request is as follows: In a localised part of a photo I am editing, there is a colour inbalance of a fence that I would like to fix with the Colour Balance tool. However, the fence is covered by plants that cannot be easily unselected from the mask, with any of the available tools at present.
If I were to select the fence and mask it with the Advanced Colour Editor tool, it would mask parts of the frame that I don't want selected, and the erasing of which would take lots of time and precision.
In the first place, the Colour Editor tool would not be a very good option for the adjustment that I wanted to make anyway, and selecting the fence with the Advanced Colour Editor to mask it would not consistently select the fence anyway, due to the tonal variations in the fence.

Current workaround
The Colour Editor workaround I mentioned above is very limited and suboptimal, but the only option I have found. |
