I have folders with photos that are currently not managed by Capture One. These folders already have names that I like and are in the place that I like.
I want to create new sessions from existing folders. Essentially convert a folder with raw files to a capture one session.
It would be great if I could take my existing folder with raw files and convert it to a new session, so capture one creates usual folder structure inside of my existing folder and automatically moves existing files into Capture folder.

Current workaround
Right now I have to create a new empty session that I have to either put in another place on my disk or name differently than my existing photo. Then I have to move all files from my existing folder to new session/capture. And now I have a new session and old empty folder that I have to delete. This is not a dealbreaker but it's just annoying that I already effectively have folders how I like them but can't just convert them to sessions. |
