I like the new Combine Mask feature, but I really miss the dedicated Luma Range button.
This feature is used a lot and having to go to Combine Mask -> Modify is to slow.
Wish you brought back dedicated button.

Current workaround
You could Replace Refine Mask with Luma Range. Refine Mask can easily go to right click options of a layer. Since Luma Range is used way more often. Thank you. |
I thought I was the only one, but I guess after you do it once, the new way, you get used to it. KIND OF.
To OP. Okay, I found a workaround, you can make a keyboard shortcut to luma range.
But still, the new layers system is a bit confusing and not too user friendly. Or is it just me.

I agree! I also use it 99% of the time and very rarely need to refine mask.
Or make the combine masks as a button, that makes the default selection what was created when selected from the dropdown menu. So it doesn't open a dropdown menu every time you click it. It is very annoying to click the create mask button every time from the dropdown menu. Make it a button and make the dropdown menu open from the arrow. Simple :)
Or even better, make it a possibility to save a preferred operation and mask combination to a sort of a custom button for the people who use the one combination more often so it replaces the refine mask button.
