Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
As a beta user, I have tested your new ‘Negative’ feature.
Conclusion:
Years ago, I wrote my own C1 Costyles for different colour and black-and-white films. I have received many negatives from my old stock and from others, and they need to be optimised as digital files in a reasonable resolution for further processing.
Your approach is good, but important requests have apparently not yet been incorporated.
Upscaling would be important in order to have reasonable file sizes; 24x36mm or
60x60mm is only suitable for (un)social networks, not for demanding image editing and large-format prints.
Automatic removal of scratches and dust marks would also be desirable.
Perhaps you could discuss this!
The Luminar Neo and Affiniti Foto programmes are already working on similar functions, which use AI to do many things automatically. This has already led us users to draw up a list of requirements.
Let's see what C1 makes of it.
Kind regards,
Heinrich Strauss
