The Match Look section takes up way too much space on the toolbar in my opinion, and can be broken down into 3 parts: the images/variants, the individual adjustments, and the Apply/Apply as new layer section. However, once the image/variants and individual adjustments have been selected there isn't much need for them as these are unlikely to change for the remainder of the editing section.
It would be good to be able to keep the Apply button/Apply as new layer part open, possibly in combination with the image/variant to see what the reference images are, while minimising the remainder of the Match Look toolbar so that it doesn't take up too much space on the sidebar i.e. splitting the Match Look sections into 3 separate submenus which can be closed or left open individually.

Current workaround
Closing and opening the entire Match Look section when required or assign and use keyboard shortcuts for 'Set Match Look Reference' and 'Apply Match Look', which is much more practical. To be fair the shortcuts work very well for me, but it would be nice to take a peak at the reference image at times, (un-)select the new layer option if needed and also use the apply button instead of relying on the shortcuts. |
