Rating

Dear Capture One team,

I would like to share an idea for a possible enhancement to the rating system in Capture One.

In my experience, the current rating system already works very well and is extremely helpful in daily professional workflows. Especially during the image selection process with clients, it is a very valuable tool.

One feature that would be incredibly useful would be the ability for multiple clients or stakeholders to rate images independently from one another within the same session or selection process. Ideally, these ratings would remain clearly separated and be displayed in an organized way directly inside Capture One.

For example, I could imagine a system with:

• separate ratings for each client or stakeholder

• a visible overview or list of all ratings within Capture One

• automatic organization of these ratings into different folders or groups

• for example, one folder for the agency, one for marketing, and one for the actor or photographed person

This would make selection workflows with multiple decision-makers much more structured and efficient. In professional productions, where several parties are involved in the selection process, this could be an extremely valuable feature.

It could also be helpful if ratings could be assigned to specific people or roles, so it becomes immediately clear who selected or prioritized which image.

I would be very happy if you would consider this idea as a suggestion for future development. Capture One is an essential professional tool in my workflow, and collaborative features like this could make client and team collaboration significantly more powerful.
