It's not possible to edit greyscale images in Capture One Pro. I frequently scan greyscale images which are not possible to directly edit in CO without a round-trip through photoshop to convert to RGB, but this renders the process of working with greyscale images in CO to be tedious and slow.
It would be very helpful if, at the very least, CO could be updated to allow adjustments to be applied to greyscale images directly within CO without requiring such files to be first converted to RGB
