Re-instate maintaining the zoom level on next capture, when following

This week I upgraded to Capture One Studio to gain access to the LIve for Studio ipad app. I've been using Capture Pilot for years with clients and it is fine, but very very unstable, crashing/becoming unresponsive many times per day for no reason at all whilst clients were using it, and also when no one was interacting with it at all - and this whilst in a simple network environment, no complications or interference. Very frustrating to have to force quit and restart the app constantly, slowing everything down.

I was really, really disappointed when giving Live for Studio a go this week, to see that it is basically a carbon copy of Capture Pilot, reskinned to look a little nicer, and now we have to pay considerably more in order to use it in much the same way as Capture Pilot - and some features have been REMOVED. I admit that it is now more stable, which is great and the main objective for me, but come on guys - we need to pay considerably more, for less functionality, just to have a stable app? Seriously? I'm really not one to complain about C1 as it is great software in general, but this is ridiculous? Definitely not worth the upgrade to C1 Studio in these circumstances so I'll be cancelling the trial.

Reading some of the other suggestions it's quite clear that some of them can't easily be implemented but the ones I am suggesting below should be fairly straightforward and/or are re-instating features that existed in the past.

All my requests in this and other posts, in order of priority/usefulness:

• Re-instate maintaining the zoom level on next capture, when following. (Old behaviour would maintain zoom level, which is useful for confirming exact focus movements or moving items in the shot. New behaviour is that next capture comes in and the view resets to show the full image.)

• Add option to select viewer background colour at a global level (white being the most useful please). Someone else has requested this so I won't double up.

• Add option to have a viewer margin and/or proof margin like in C1, adjustable if possible

• Re-instate option to show filename under thumbnails, in thumbnail view

• Re-instate ability to allow camera controls. Someone else has requested this so I won't double up.

• Re-instate option to choose Small/Med/Large thumbnail sizes

• Make this app free to all users, like Capture Pilot, as it is so so similar, barely offers anything extra, removes more functionality than it adds...

Things that are good (I do believe it's important to give credit), thank you:

• Stability seems considerably better, thanks.

• Clients being able to navigate thumbnails without following next capture is very useful, thanks.

• Thumbnail loading seems a touch faster.

• Ability to navgiate through multiple folders if desired, is useful.
