Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Dear Capture One Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I’d like to suggest an enhancement to Capture One’s feature set: the potential collaboration with renowned camera brands such as Leica to develop new styles. Leica, for instance, already works with a number of photographers to release custom style packs—this approach could offer Capture One users a new, rich palette of color profiles. I believe this could help Capture One step ahead in differentiating its product.
Could Capture One explore partnerships with key photographers and brands to develop these styles? This could provide a significant edge in the market. I’d appreciate your consideration and would love to hear if this is something you might pursue.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Best regards,
Sean Gilligan

Current workaround
I’m currently relying on third-party providers like Cobalt for camera ICC/profiles, but I’d much prefer an integrated solution. It would be incredibly valuable if Capture One offered official, camera-specific color profiles for Hasselblad and Leica — not generic or community-generated profiles, but manufacturer-validated profiles that ensure accurate, consistent color straight out of RAW. Additionally, I’d love to see creative profile packs developed in collaboration with Hasselblad and Leica that capture each brand’s distinct color and tonal signature — film simulations, brand-specific color renditions, and other creative looks. These should be easy to install and manage within the app, with one-click application per camera model. Practical suggestions:
Thanks for considering this — improving native support for these brands would greatly enhance Capture One’s value for photographers who rely on Hasselblad and Leica. |
