cut out the center of a photo, in other words, remove the middle.

What problem do you see this solving?

Remove the jerk in the middle of a shot of three on a sofa.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I cropped the right side and exported and cropped the left side and exported then created a panorama with Hugin.

This is so we have a greater understanding of how your workflow is affected, and how we can improve the existing tools and functionality.

    Try the Clone or Healing brush if you have a suitable source point.
    This would be your best option from an editor such as Capture One

    I agree this is a pixel editor function.

    Features like this would generally be in the realm of pixel editors such as Photoshop or Affinity Photo. 

    I'm not saying you can't ask for it in Capture One, just that those kinds of programs are usually where you find this type of feature.
