The main issue is how inaccurate the selections and masks are. If one has 100's of studio E-comm model images one cannot rely on the current accuracy to provide a detailed masks around the subject and garments. This is not just the case one images with similarly coloured garments tones/colours and background, but on basic white shirt on gey background situations also.
If the level of accuracy met or exceeded that of the select subject function in photoshop it would be a game changer for the industry, as one could export the desired selections directly from capture

Current workaround
Current solution for large volumes of E-Comm imagery is outsourcing the selection part of the workflow offshore. Or for lower volumes, opening the files in PS to use the select subject cloud selection tool |

I see you mention the Cloud AI features from other software, can I ask how long would you be willing to wait for a mask to be created? And are you ok with your images being sent to the cloud for processing?
There is usually a trade-off between accuracy and speed, all of this constrained by the processing power (on your computer or in the cloud), we'd like to understand where you would want to put the cursor.
