Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
I am a product photographer who frequently shoots in portrait (vertical) orientation using Capture One for iPad connected to a Canon EOS R5.
Currently, when both the camera and iPad are positioned vertically, the Live View image displays horizontally (rotated). The only workaround right now is to constantly lock and unlock the iPad's screen rotation and physically turn the device when switching setups. This is not only time-consuming and disruptive to the workflow, but it also keeps clients waiting on set whenever I want to show them the live view.
The desktop version already has an "Orientation" feature under Live View Control to rotate the live view screen perfectly. I would highly appreciate it if this exact feature could be implemented in the iPad version as well, allowing us to rotate the Live View stream directly within the app. This would immensely improve the mobile tethering experience for portrait shooters!

Current workaround
Manually rotating the iPad to landscape, locking the screen rotation, and then turning the camera vertically. This requires unlocking and re-locking the screen rotation every time the setup changes. |
