gradient masks to follow crop

If I've made selections and applied crops on all the images so my composition works for my client but they vary depending on image, some tighter, some looser, some left, some right biased.
Then edit the first image to then copy and apply onto the others, when I apply gradient masks, those gradients that were applied sit exactly where they were copied on the original reference image.
I have to move them to position them properly as my crops vary throughout my selects.

Is there a way to have the gradients masks follow their placement on the cropped original reference copied image?
