Session slow to start with lots of photos

Capure seems much slower to open large sessions with thousands of photos

For pro work this is not an issue

I have a session per project and is fine

But for personal work

I have a session per year to keep things organised

By end of the year it takes some time to open my session which is frustrating

Why does it have to rescan all the photos everytime it opens?
