Improve Capture One

C1 on Linux would be great, but from reading the open tickets, requests, submitting my own support request, it unfortunately seems to be unlikely to happen any time soon.
The general notion seems to be that native Linux support will not be pursued. May I suggest looking into compatibility layers to provide a somewhat smooth experience for Linux, despite the software being build for Windows? Such a compatibility layer could be Wine, ProtonDB or something else.

Current workaround
The current workaround is using a Windows VM. However, my Windows VM experience is an unpleasant one. The long term solution is either C1 provides the software for Linux, with or without compatibility layer, or I will have to switch to alternatives. |
